I used to be strictly a natural light photographer, shooting outdoors and indoors with natural light, but over time I found it became so unpredictable. The lighting could change at any moment, not to mention the weather conditions here in Tallahassee, Florida! I started to dread working around all of those variables, and it took some of the joy out of the creative process. Once I learned how to correctly use artificial light as if it were natural light, it was a game changer for me. Now I have consistent, soft light to work with in the studio, which means I can create beautiful fine art baby, children, and family wall portraits any time of day, on any given day.
